Sharing real-life market stall experiences and tips

MY MARKETSTALL

Run a stall? Tell us what you have learned. A first day, a display that finally worked, a stock mistake you will not repeat, a pricing tip, how you cope with wind and rain. Stallholders write the most useful posts on this site, and readers trust them.

What we publish

  • Your own experience and tips from running a stall.
  • A friendly, practical tone. Telling us what went wrong and what you would do differently is welcome.
  • Original writing and photos you took yourself.
  • Anywhere from 300 to 1,000 words. Shorter is fine if it is useful.

What we do not publish

  • Reviews or complaints about a particular market, organiser or stallholder. We keep this site kind and useful.
  • Anything that names a person or business in a negative way.
  • Work copied from somewhere else, or already published elsewhere.
  • Sales pitches and link drops.

How it works. Send your story with the form below. I read every one and decide what goes live. I may edit for length and clarity, and I will check with you first if the changes are big. Nothing is published automatically, and I cannot promise every story will run. By sending it you give us permission to publish it on this site. You keep the rights to your writing, and you can ask us to take it down at any time.
